This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds work for the various services offered by Nexura Tech Pte. Ltd. ("Nexura Tech", "we", "us", "our").
1. Insurance comparison content (free)
Our insurance comparison content on nexura.ltd/insurance/ is free to read and use. We do not collect payment from visitors using the comparison features. There is therefore nothing to refund from Nexura Tech in connection with our content.
If you purchase an insurance policy through one of our affiliate links, the refund, cooling-off, and cancellation terms are set by the insurance provider you purchased from, not by Nexura Tech. Please contact the insurer directly for refund or cancellation requests.
2. Custom software & web development services
For paid software development, web development, or marketing services purchased from Nexura Tech, the following terms apply.
2.1 Deposit refunds
- Within 7 days of payment and before any work has commenced: 100% refund of any deposit paid, less any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (e.g., domain registration, paid software licences, third-party service subscriptions).
- After work has commenced: deposits are non-refundable except as set out in Section 2.3 below.
2.2 Project cancellation
Either party may cancel a project in writing at any time. Upon cancellation:
- You will be invoiced for work completed up to the date of cancellation, on a time-and-materials basis at the rates set out in the Statement of Work.
- We will deliver any deliverables prepared up to that point, subject to payment of the cancellation invoice.
- Unused portions of pre-paid fees that exceed the value of work completed will be refunded within 14 business days of cancellation.
2.3 Breach by Nexura Tech
If Nexura Tech materially fails to deliver agreed work and does not cure the failure within 30 days of receiving written notice from you, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund of fees paid for the undelivered portion.
2.4 Change of scope
If you change the scope of a project after work has commenced, additional fees or refunds may apply. These will be agreed in writing before changes are implemented.
3. Subscription services
We currently do not offer subscription services. If we introduce them in future, refund terms will be clearly stated at the point of purchase and incorporated into this policy.
4. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email hello@nexura.ltd with:
- Your full name and the email address used at the time of purchase.
- The invoice number, transaction reference, or project name.
- The reason for the refund request.
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a substantive response within 5 business days.
5. Method and timing of refund
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. If refund to the original payment method is not possible (e.g., card expired, payment provider unavailable), we will arrange an alternative method (typically bank transfer).
Bank transfer fees, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount unless the refund is due to a material breach by Nexura Tech.
6. Disputes
If you believe a refund is owed and we disagree, please first contact hello@nexura.ltd to discuss in good faith. We aim to resolve disputes amicably and promptly. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms of Service apply.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights under applicable law, including (where applicable):
- Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.
- EU Consumer Rights Directive.
- UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Equivalent consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were made. Existing engagements are governed by the version of this policy in effect at the time of purchase.
